muiredach's cross in Co Louth. In my opinion the best example of a high cross or Celtic cross or Biblical high cross in Ireland 🇮🇪. Stunning detail and still Standing strong after being left out in the open for over 1000 years. This cross has survived Viking attacks attacks from Cromwell and the Irish weather. Both sides are still if fairly good condition and explain the testaments in the carvings. Scenes such as Adam and eve and Cain and Able and the crucifixion along with stunning celtic images.
